Ever since it was set up as a buying office in Bordeaux in 1883, Maison Sichel has remained, first and foremost, a family business. Since that time, seven generations of the Sichel family have succeeded one another at the company’s helm. Max is part of the Sichel family,

son of present Chairman, Allan Sichel.

Maison Sichel is part-owner of Château Palmer in Margaux, as well as owning Château Angludet and Argadens in Bordeaux, and also Château de Trillol in Corbières in the Languedoc.
