Otto’s French restaurant is famous for providing one of the best private dining rooms in London. You can book a bespoke experience at our private dining restaurant at 182 Gray’s Inn Road, London WC1X 8EW, which is available throughout the week from Monday to Sunday.

Private Dining Room Capacity

Seated on table: 24 Guests

Seated on Three Table: 30 Guests

Ground Floor and Basement Dining Rooms: 50 guests

Standing Canapes: 60 Guests

There is no minimum spend, or room hire charge for groups of 12 guests and above. During December, a minimum spend will apply.

The room can seat up to 12 guests on one boardroom style table, 24 guests on one long table or up to 32 guests on three tables.

Please note these menus are seasonal and are subject to change:

Please pre-order your menu and advise us of your guests’ choices (if you are opting for the Seasonal Private Dining Menu) no later than 7 working days prior to the event. Within 48 hours of your booking, if there are guest cancellations, we may have to charge for their menus.

Aperitif and Wines

Pre-ordering the aperitif and wines to accompany your meal are essential. Again, we require notice of 5 working days prior to your event.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Please note that we do not take provisional bookings for the private room so if you do wish to make the booking, we will ask for a £250, which you will be sent a link for to make the payment securely. We like to avoid charging any cancellation fee and we would politely ask you to cancel at least 7 days in advance of your booking in order for us to refund your deposit fully.

We kindly ask lunch functions to vacate by 16.30 and dinner functions by 23.30.
